I think that BP responded in a manner that was not required to be responded according to the interests of the stockholders. This is because of the aspect that the stockholders are supposed to always obtain a view on stocks which is like a long-term view on stocks. In other words, BP is supposed to respond in a way in which the stockholders would be able to get a long-term view on stocks and not a short-term view on stocks (Lussier & Sherma, 2014). However, by informing about the stockholders about changes and fluctuations taking place every minute, or in every hour, BP did not respond in a manner that was appropriate to stockholders.
